Ford presents

Finally being released, Tom Fords highly exclusive Spring 2011 Runway collection has been on lockdown since he presented it to a very small crowd during New York Fashion week in September.  Fashionistas around the world have been craving the reveal of the collection. Celebrities such as Beyonce, Daphne Guinness, Stella Tennant, Rachel Feinstein, Lauren Hutton, Liya Kebede, and Joan Smalls strutted their stuff down the runway showing off what Tom Ford said they inspired him to design.  With the models ranging from ages 20 through 70, the variety of clothing lets women have a younger appearance while still being comfortable dressing for their age.  From Harpers Bazaar UK Tom Ford states “The women [in my show] don’t change their look from day to day. They have figured out who they are – that’s what makes you iconic, by the way. Figure out who you are, figure out what you like, figure out what you look good in.”  Although his clothing doesn’t come cheap with dresses ranging from £2,900 to £22,000 he says “at this stage in my life, what’s interesting is trying to make the best thing I can make.”  Pictures are not supposed to be released until January and a full article Mr Ford is Back by Clare Coulson is in the January issue of Bazaar on sale 6th December.
