all hail mcQUEEN

This year, one of the most important nights in fashion is devoted to the Costume Institute Gala at The Met.  Anna Wintour and Samantha Cameron unveiled to Vogue UK a unique celebration that will be taking place this year, the upcoming Costume Institution exhibition of the works of the truly missed Alexander MqQueen: Savage Beauty.  Alexander McQueens' successor, Sarah Burton and long time friend, Stella McCartney, will co-chair this year’s event held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 2, featuring "fantastical" designs from McQueen dating back to 1994 and ending with his most recent collections in 2010.  Here are a few sneak peaks from Vogue UK.
